2015-Performers2015 was another great year for live music in Colorado (and elsewhere). I still have one more show (Patti Smith at the Fillmore in San Francisco), but I wanted to get this out there. My final count came to 181 performances across 76 shows and a 3-day festival. 30 of those shows were in Morrison, making 2015 my busiest Red Rocks season to date. Most of the performances I witnessed are worthy of mention, but I decided to keep this shortlist to an uneven 15. Here are my most memorable live music experiences of the past 12 months…

these miserable people allowed him to create such magnificently miserable music.

enough good bands to make up for the shitty location.

FNM

Faith No More / Gogol Bordello
09.08.15
Red Rocks, Morrison, CO
bathe things in a low red or blue for a minute before blasting back out in full, living color.

just a synth pop band…just a timeless, ageless, incredible synth pop band.
